Grey leather winter boots, yes please!
Tuesday, 01 June 2010
I have a love hate relationship with my new winter boots. They are flat, grey leather and made in Italy. Super comfortable, warm and so this season. I loved them in the store trying them on, I loved them at the counter paying a million dollars for them, I loved them carrying them to the car, I loved them walking them inside to their new home in my robe...
But that night it all changed, I was getting ready for a nice evening
out when I couldn't get the left foot on. I pulled, I layed down on the
bed, I stood up, I sat, I had my husband push and pull until he nearly
had a heart attack. I cried and I screamed. I had them on that morning
in the store and now they just wouldn't obey. These wonder boots have no
zip, you see, this makes them look hot, this season pull on boots but
it also makes them my worst enemy. I hated my new boots. We were late
for dinner and I wasn't wearing my new boots. The next day the answer
appeared, my husband drove far and wide and found me an extremely long
strong metal shoe horn, it's my best friend, it's the mediator between
me and my boots. I love them and sometimes I hate them but I always love
my new shoe horn!
